St Teresa's stands enveloped in its dazzling glory as it is a pioneer and made a significant breakthrough in the field of culture,academics and sports.It has consciously and deliberately planned to bring about a special influence regarding life-centered education in the educand.It is one place anyone canfit in to blend with their own as well as discover new dimensions.

          Servant of God Mar Thomas Kurialassery is the founder of this institution.Mother Chanthal is the co-foundress of St Teresa's in 1916.Palathra Mathew, a well wisher who magnanimously offered four cents of land layed the foundation stone and launched the new venture (Gurukulam) whence bloomed into this present form.By 1919 Archbishop Mar Kurialassery purchased the land on a larger scale.As per Government order  the school was upgraded to English Medium in 1951.By 1952 the first batch comprising 28 students passed out.Mar Mathew Kavukatt  Corporate Manager of schools included St Teresa's into the network.

         A major development and a turning point is the inception of Higher Secondary Course with its various streams.According to the national education policy when Pre-degree got delinked from colleges Plus two started in schools.

        As per the initiative and comprehensive plan envisioned by ArchBishop Mar Joseph Powathil,Vicar General Jose P Kottaram and Corporate Manager Father Joseph Chirakadavil, St. Teresa's rose to a Higher Secondary School on 27th July 2000.Later it was transferred to the present site with an alluring infrastructure and modern educational facilities worth one crore rupees.The building was blessed by Mar Joseph Powathil and inaugurated by Education Minister Nalakathu Soopi.The finance for the constuction of this new building was shared by the members of the Adoration Convent ,teachers and the local people.

         The first head of the institution was Sr.Maria Thengumthottam a beacon of light to the Teresian family ,followed by the Principal Sr. Annie Vellackal who took charge and discharged duties from 2004 to 2006.The year 2007 was earmarked in a special way as the Plus Two  section started functioning as an independent wing with Smt. Sheelamma Varghese who took up the reigns to lead the way.

          In 2007 St Teresa's was heralded as the Best Higher Secondary School in the Archdiocese of Changanacherry-which send it reeling under its stupendous success.The Decennial celebration began on 19th October2009.It continued for the rest of the year with different programmes on the run providing myriad opportunities for the children to showcase their talents.With the benevolent help of Mother Provincial Mother Rose Kunnathpurayidam,teachers and former students,the new Auditorium came into existence.

            Mrs. Dolitta Dominic ,with vision took charge as the new principal in 2010.Apart from the icing on the cake like the display of scientific exhibition ,Band troop -St Teresa's is also proud of its achievements made at the Sub-District Arts festival and KCSL  Arts festival in the year 2010.

             St. Teresa's is still on its tremendous flight as the School gives the world versatile personalities equipped to fare their very best in all endeavours.
