OUR SCHOOL -AT A GLANCE

Our School is located in the Heart of the Alappuzha Town near Marsleeva Forane Church. St.Antony’s High School,is an aided school that belongs to the Corporate Management of schools,Archdiocese of Changanassery.The manager of the school is the mother of St.Theresa’s convent ,under whose auspices the institution aspires to better prospects.The media of instruction are both malayalam and English.There are parallel English medium classes from standars V-X .  

        It was established in 1918 by CMC Sisters. Our vision is striving for excellence in developing the spiritual ,intellectual,physical,mental,social and cultural faculties of the future generation of India and enabling them to fight the battle of life successfully,truly and beautifully.Our mission is strengthened by the Divine love,we are   dedicated for the integral and mature development of Individual.  Nestled in the so called venice of east ,Alappuzha the School was established in  1918 with 3 classes . The School was upgraded to a middle School in 1937.It was affiliated to the corporate management in the year 1951. Within one year the School has grown in to a High School in 1952. Now it has completed 76 years of its glorious service in the field of  education.  During these periods, the School has rendered remarkable services to the society by culturing thousands of young girl children  as productive good citizens of our country

1918-                       Established CMC convent in Alappuzha .School started upto std III

   1919 -                    School recognised up to std III. 

  1934 May 18-             Started std IV

  1935-                       Std V & VI 

 1937 -                      Started  std VII,Upgraded St.Antony's L.P.S to UPS

  1947 May 19-              Upgraded to St.Antony's English Middle School.

 1951-                        Affiliated to Corporate Management of                                                               Changanacherry

1952 June-                Upgraded as High School

1972                               Started Band troupes and Guides Unit
