The school started as an unaided school in 1946 as a Cambridge School which was popular in those days. It obtained recognition in 1949. The school flourished under the guidance of Shri. E C John and many others who succeeded him as headmaster.

The school was upgraded to Higher Secondary in 1998 with two Science (Biology) batches and one Commerce batch with Sri Job Joseph as the first Principal. It was a dream came true for the people of Nedumkunnam, a gift in the Jubilee Year of the School. A Computer Science batch was added in 2000. At Present, the school has 400 students with four batches.

The School has a good infrastructure with well-equipped Physics, Chemistry,  Biology and Computer labs, a Computer Aided Teaching (CAT) Room and  Library.

The school is managed by the Prayerful guidance of Very Rev.Fr.Mathew Puthenangady. Our staff consists of the Principal, 17 teachers and 3 lab assistants. The management and the staff will continue striving hard with utmost sincerity and dedication to take the school to further heights.
