The second apostle of India was born in the family castle of Xavier near Sanguisa in Kingdom of Navarra, Spain on 7th April 1506. On 24th June 1537 he received holy orders with St. Ignatius. His efforts left a significant impression up on the missionary history of India and as one of the first Jesuit missionaries to the East India. His work is of fundamental significance Christians in the propagation of Christianity in China and Japan. India has numerous Jesuit missions and many more schools. He welcomed sorrows and difficulties in order to have close relationship Jesus. On 3rd December 1552 in his missionary journey from Japan to China, he died at Shangchuan Island due to Typhoid |
