KCSL, JUNIOR RED-CROSS, NATURE CLUB, I.T CLUB, JALA PAADAM, HEALTH AND HYGIENE CLUB, CLUBS OF ALL LANGUAGES AND SCIENCE, KALA-SAAHITHYA VEDI, DEBATNG AND DISCUSSION FORUMS AND A WELL-STACKED LIBRARY IN OUR SCHOOL. ALL THESE FACILITIES PROVIDE AMPLE OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS TO BROADEN THEIR EXTRA CURRICULAR SKILLS IN A DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT. THE EDUSAT CENTRE,POWERED BY NUMEROUS C.D ROMS,NEW GENERATION PROJECTORS,A WIDE SCREEN AND DIGITAL SORROUND SOUND,OFTEN BECOMES THE TRANSITIONAL VENUE FOR A GREAT AMOUNT OF GENERAL AND SCIENTIFIC INFORMATIONS.
SCOUT
The SCOUT aims at developing social commitments and social responsibilities through activity-oriented endeavours. The Scout family of our school consists of 35 members. Last year, 6 scouts of our school received the prestigious RAAJYA PURASKAAR award. These 6 scouts are now preparing to write the President's Scout exam. The Scout unit co-ordinates the traffic-control operations infront of our school in which the M. C road deadly bends. Staff member, Sri.Manoj Chacko gives help, guidence and motivation to the scout unit here.
I.T CLUB
The school I.T club functions with multi - spectrum interests in extracting I.T related talents of our students.The students view informational and enlightening CD roms, hear lectures and presentations,watch concerts, cultural shows and classic films here. Our I.T lab proves a workshop for children to broaden the horizons of their creative and imaginative skills. The members of our I.T club recorded the enchanting moments of a KADHAKALI show conducted in our school in a new panasonic 78CTX handicam and they edited,mixed and even added sound tracks with the help of capture-prime SFX-D software, the one used by sound engineers in commercial films . Now the school I.T club is all set to make a malayalam tele-film. The I.T club design logos and notices too.They repair the minor errors of our desktop computers. Because of the amenities we whole - heartedly offer,the school is always a venue for student school co-ordinators of the entire educational sub-district.
JUNIOR RED CROSS
Keeping in mind,the agendas of serving the needy with a smile,spreading health consciousness and helping mentalities,Junior Red Cross serves a great job for the nation. 2 High School units and 1 Upper-Primary unit of Junior Red Cross are functioning in our school.They are also concerned about numerous activities in saving our environment on a large scale basis too.The members of the Junior Red Cross collects medicines from students,teachers and people in the neighbourhood and distirbute it to the poor suffering sections of the soceity.They also distribute school uniforms and notebooks. Staff member, Sri. Roby M.V co-ordinates the Junior Red Cross activities in our school.
JALA PAADAM
Jalapaadam Club studies about numerous living habitats, mangroves, endangered species, global warming, climate changes and water-born diseses. Their mission is to conserve India's bio-diversity and thus ensuring quality of life to future generations.The Jalapaadam club organises classes, debates, workshops, tours and data collections to create environment friendliness and to present a better world order for humanity. Sri. Roby M.V volunteers a great job as the convenor for the Jalapaadam club in our school.
