St.Mary's Higher Secondary School is an sided school that belongs to the corporate management of schools,Archdiocese of Changanacherry.The manager of the corporate is the Metropolitan Archbishop of Changanacherry.The corporate Manager,appointed by Archbishop exercises his role by the power of Attorney in the appointment of the members of the staff and the administration of the school.The Local Manager of the school is the vicar of St mary’s Forane Church Champakuolam,under whose auspices the institution aspires to better prospects.The media of instruction are both Malayalam and English.There are parallel English Mediaum classes from Standards V to X-one and two divisions each for U.Pand  High School sections respectively.

This institution has been dedicated to St Mary, the Second Eve who brought forth the offspring that bruised the head of the infernal serpent, and the Morning star of Christian Faith who preceded the Lord Jesus. With deep and intense dedication our competent teachers are committed to train the pupils ahead of time.
