CLUBS

Besides class room learnig the activities in connection with different clubs makes pupils peep and plunge in to the world of Science,social Science,Mathematics,Arts and Literature.The clubs in connection with the sections mentioned above are Science clb,Social Science club,Maths club,English club Malayalam club Vidyarangam Kalasahithyavedi,Hindi club,Sanskrit Club,Nature club,Energy conservation club,Wet land club,Young farmers club and Ecco club.The programmes organised by these clubs are instrumental in grooming the innate potentials in students and enable them to develop skills and mutual compatibility

QUIZ CLUB

With a concerted effort,the teachers scan adequate resourses to make general knowledge available to the pupils.Special coachings in each subject are also arranged to update general awareness of the pupils.Quiz competitions held occationally,create a healthy rivalry among them.

ATHLETICS

The institution is fortunate enough to have the play grounds,the very cradle of democracy,in the full swing.There are to large ground for the pupils to practice any event of their choice.The proximity of the broad river Pampa assures a definit access to aquatic events.So it is not az matter of great surprise that St.Mary's could dominate so many aquatic events at the district,state and national levels for here nature and nurture join hands to ensure the victorious emergence of our participants.

ST.VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY

The activities in connection with st. Vincent De Paul Society impart the children sufficent opportunities to identify and help the poor and the needy. This leave a sense of love and compassion with them. Every Thursday pupils collect their widow's mite.

REMEDIAL MESURES

From the very beginning of each scholastic year, individual difference among the pupils in their accademic performance is taken into account and for each subject remedial coaching is given to improve the performance of each student.

LIBRARY

As "reading maketh a full man" our full fledged library, having separate sections for each topic the pupils come across; is a constant source of inspiration to them for their allround development.As a result the undesirable influance of visual media on the pupils is effectively controlled.Moreover each pupil receives in advance definite guide lines from the concerned teachers for the selection of books.

DEBATOR’S FORUM

A  Courteous clash of controversies necessitates a reference to contemporary and

conventional  topics , logical analysis and reasoning and powerful  expressions. The

concerned  teachers impart enough training to the members of the forum to voice their

concern  without any kind of inhabitation . Some pupils become reflective and get a boost

to their eloquence.
