As the morning Star remains ever fixed to the purpose of heralding the solar radiance St Mary's has been spreading knowledge and human values for the lastone hundred years. With the earnest leadership of Champakulam Kalloorkadu Forane Church ,the mother church of almost all the Syrian Churches of Alappuzha District and the sincere co-operation of men  of different religion caste and creed,this institution was established in 1905.Since then it is never tired of extending its strenuous arms in pursuit of academic excellence. A further advancement to this effect was made when it was upgraded to high School in 1950 and to Higher Secondary School in 1998,a full fledged centre for institutionalised learning in firmness and fairness. The eventful past pass a reasonable verdict on our leaps and bounds that helps us to spur our performance to the full gallop.Like innumerable stars emerge from nebula and dispel darkness eminent personalities have come out of this institution and enriched different strata of society the world over. Our pains-taking  efforts now ensure the glorious up rise of new constellations which can keep the entire world in a flood of light. No doubt the students of today try their level best to excel their elders. So we reasonably hope the posterity will definitely benefit the academic activities of this institution
