Job-oriented and value added courses are offered along with personality development programmes to boost confidence and self-esteem. The cell furnishes information to the students on higher courses, various competitive examinations and scholarships in India and abroad. The pattern and structure of competitive examinations are made familiar to students. Elementary training to take examinations conducted by UPSC, BSRB, PSC, NDA etc is provided. Application forms of these examinations are made available to the students. There is a special corner in the library for career publications. Each student is made career-conscious about the opportunities available in his academic stream. Career seminars and consultancy programmes are conducted on a regular basis. Special coaching is provided free of charge for taking entrance and recruitment examinations for NDA, Sailor in the Navy, Merchant Navy, Air Man, Hotel Management, Fashion and Design courses, Law School and foundation course for CA. We consider it a very useful program for the students of this age. We have a special cell on opportunities and scholarships in foreign countries. The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Govt. of Kerala has selected the school as a centre for career guidance and counselling.
