"Sub-District Youth Festival" |

| The performance of the peterians in the Changanacherry Sub-District YouthFestival was another glittering event the history of St Peter’s. The three-day festival began on 30th December , at Kristu Jyothi E.M.S saw the much awaited multiple performance and creative exuberance of our students. Two events Margamkali and Deshabhakthignam got first place with A Grade and selected for the district level competition. All the events presented by the peterians were brilliant examples of untiring practice and perfect aesthetic sense. Our school secured third position with 121 points and that proved once again that peterians are second to name in the co curricular field also. | ||

Onam was celebrated in St. Peter’s H S S in an atmosphere filled with real festival mood. All the students and teachers including the principal were clad in traditional Kerala style dresses. Competition in floral designs, and Malayala Sreeman and Sreemathy were the main attraction. Onam games like ‘Vadam Vali’ and ‘Kaserakali’ were also there. At the end of the events, once again Yellow House emerged as the champions. With the distribution of the sweet ‘Payasam’, celebrations came to an end. There was a traditional ‘Sadya’ for the staff. |

We give importance to physical activities. Sports day is celebrated, towards the middle of every academic year. Events like Running race, Relay etc are conducted and students participate with enthusiasm. In the evening school ground is filled with students engaged in games and physical fitness programmes. In the last academic year school has bagged several prices in District and Corporate level sports meet. The school level sports meet was on local manager Rev.Fr. Xavier J Puthenkalam was the chief guest and he received salute from the students. There were 8 events including running race, relay race and jump items and the students competed with real sportsman sprit . At the end Yellow house was the top scorer and the Red house came out as the winner in the March past. ST. Peter’s School team was the over-all championship in the corporate level Sports meet. |
