The lighted lamp on the top symbolizes the light of wisdom which dispels the darkness of ignorance and illiteracy and illuminates the students' mind with wisdom.
The open Book on the middle of the emblem stands for the book of knowledge from which generations of students have imbibed the wealth of knowledge to mould their lives as worthy citizens of the land.
The Ashoka Chakra in the bottom denotes the wheel of Dharma. Truth or Satya, dharma or virtue ought to be the controlling principle of those who study here. The wheel also represents the dynamism of a peaceful change.
The two paddy bunches on both sides of the emblem symbolizes the staple crop of Kuttanadu and also the developed knowledge.
The motto of the school is the Snsskrit sentence “AZATHO MA SAD GAMAYA” . The word ‘Truth’ is originated from the Sanskrit word ‘SAD’. It actually means that which exist up to eternity. All the religion believe that only God can exist up to eternity. So it says that ‘Truth is God’. According to the Bible Jesus says “I am the truth and the path”.
